Beautiful apartments but there’s limited way to get downtown. I will probably move downtown if busses to down town don’t start coming up here
Management needs to do a better job organizing themselves. They clearly did not think through the parking situation if people stayed in their apartments. Maintenance of the community was not upheld throughout summer. There are more dogs in the community than children yet a playground was built where many were having their dogs socialize. There is also another playground a street away in the next community so there was no need for another playground.
Up to now, it is gorgers and wonderful. The faculties were so helpful in moving-in date. Utility in the department is so good.
Hope my good experience with Maple forward.
Things have been great! Am hoping that with the new school year comes a return of the events that Maplewood had hosted in the first year.
The amenities at Maplewood are great! The staff is helpful and I feel safe and comfortable at home. Rent is pricy, but worth it for the living space, amenities, and leasing office staff.
Extremely modern apartment, brand new appliances including dishwasher, washer/dryer, central AC and heating, great location, nicer than any other off campus apartment in Ithaca.
Only con is the lack of sound insulation of the building (which can be disturbing during winter and summer outdoor maintenance)
My experience is most wonderful. Especially the airconditoning. I really enjoy air conditioning. The fact that we have a smart thermostat is great.
i look forward to moving in! so far i have only heard great things from my soon-to-be roommate who chose to stay on for another year. i cannot wait to attend all the social events!
Overall it's a good experience. I like the amenities and size of my apartment. Only downside is the quality isn't the greatest due to it being rushed to complete.
Service has been okay- would appreciate not hearing different things from different people - more cohesiveness and nicer interactions would go a long way
A wonderful residential area, especially wonderful for graduate students. The housing complex takes care of everything. The community centre, gym and free coffee are added bonuses.
The parking spot and waitlist could be done better, if all residents could have access to see the waiting list would be gret. the location is awesome. Roomate assignement could be done better.
Very bad apartment. Internet always disconnect. Very bad quality furniture and all of the stuff are very bad quality. Also, they entered my room to replace cushion without my permission. After that, I lost my Yeezy shoes and $400 gift cards. You know just lost out of nothing. I never lost something before I moved in here I my life.
Management could definitely be better. Continually make mistakes that are avoidable and fails to communicate important information to residents in a timely matter. But the rooms are pretty nice and the surrounding grounds are too. Also, the trash compactor is the worst idea and it's never run timely so it constantly overflows.
I really like how friendly the community is towards dogs. I would really love to see them put up a fenced area for dogs to play off leash though.
Really great apartments. Very nice to be within walking distance of Cornell. Unfortunately walls are paper thin, so you can hear neighbors stomping about, which can be quite annoying.
Haven’t moved in yet, but I visited my friends living there often, really nice apartments. I like the air conditioning system in summer, but still prefer using gas heating system in winter
Recently constructed apartments. Nice community with community center and fitness center. Close to Cornell campus, only 10 minute walk to the engineering quad.
Overall Maplewood apartment is a great apartment and I have renewed my lease to next year.
However, there are still some part to be improved such as maintenance.
overall decent, although the move in process was quite rough at the beginning of the year. after moving in, there was construction for a while, but the apartment was fair
The community is nice and the package service is convenient. One thing I would complain is that there are too many maintenance going on and I'm awaken in the morning.
Seems alright so far. Signing up was easy. Now I'm just being prompted to write at least 140 characters for this dumb thing. Lots of fun. Hope the apartment itself is worth it.
aybe we should stop talking about Donald Trump being a racist. He seems to love the idea too much.
“I think I’m winning,” he told reporters as he left for a rally on Wednesday.
As the whole world now knows, the president was widely denounced for saying a quartet of young minority congresswomen, known as the squad, should go back to “the crime infested places from which they came.”
That would, in one case, have been Cincinnati. But the message was that if you were nonwhite, you must be some kind of foreigner. It was pretty clear to a lot of Americans that telling people to go back where they came from was a racist trope. Trump said he didn’t care. And, of course, he didn’t.
In fact, he now seems to be running for re-election against the squad. “These left-wing ideologues see our nation as a force of evil,” he told the cheering crowd in North Carolina on Wednesday night, launching into a hot assault on Representative Ilhan Omar of Minnesota while the crowd yelled “Send her back!”
clean and modern! I really satisfied with staying here. I live in a studio, and the best thing I like is the bed! the least thing is the desk and the best chair. the desk is too small..
It's a nice place to live. I wonder if people actually read these. It would be funny if they did. Hi, person that is reading this thing!! Have a nice day!
Clean and attractive apartments in a quiet community. Good for those looking to avoid the typical “college apartment conplex” trashy vibe while still having a residential community. A bit over priced given the location.
Mary Celeste F.
Roommate and early move-in requests denied. I feel like the MW team talks a good talk, but their actions tell a different story :( I sincerely hope the management team turns around in order to elevate their customers’ satisfaction rates.
It's great! The housing is excellent. The rooms have a lot of space and your own bathrooms. People living with you are really mature and collaborative in everyday living.
Experience so far has been very good. The apartment and community exceeded my expectations. Initial move in date could have been better, but after the initial delay everything has flowed smoothly.
Everything is fine so far, except Kevin needs capable office mates to help him to sustain his fantastic services that have been shown so far.
The website is not very good. Because it tells me that I have to reset my password, but I did type it right. And other people I know also had a similar experience.
I haven’t moved in yet but if you want to know, yeah, seems nice. I don’t really know what they expect from me, they sent me a link to join rewards and I haven’t even seen the building. Nice.
It’s okay, the rent is expensive and the room is tiny, the gym is open 24/7 is a plus. And move in/out was a hassle. The total experience was related with school, so its fine
I think it is super great to live here! Maplewood is dedicated to providing the highest quality of individualized services across the areas of academics, career development, independent living, and social skills. It’s these wrap-around supports that help each student experience independence as they transition to college, pursue a career and build a life away from home.
Maplewood Apartments is very conveniently located on the Cornell campus. Newly built, very spacious, and reasonably priced for graduate students.
I have not yet moved in, but so far it seems like it should be a really fantastic community. My roommate preferences have gone through without a hitch.
The roommate matching system is quite interesting and very helpful. The floor plans are plenty and the location is ideal for Cornell students.
Fitness center is amazing, staffs are nice, my studio is in great condition. I like almost everything except the coffee machine! It needs to be refilled more often.
Maplewood is at a great location very close to the cornell campus and collegetown. The rooms are great and the staff are very helpful. The amenities are great too.
A very nice place to live in terms of the physical space but it's been abundantly clear that the management has been in a state of transition as LDR merged with Greystar and as the staff have figured out what policies will work for Maplewood. Small kinks with community self responsibility result in issues such as trash buildup outside the dumpster.
Great place for myself and my dog! Easy commute to campus every morning and close to Ithaca city center. Lime bikes are often available close by and bus services are excellent.
It’s awesome! Staff is really friendly and all the facilities are great. I really like the fitness center and that we have laundry units in the apartment. The 3 bedroom 3 bathroom social areas are a bit small
I've loved living at Maplewood so far! The apartments are nice and I especially enjoy the community center and gym. I just wish there was a shuttle and option for covered parking
While the deal and location are great, the property manager obviously doesn’t listen to residents especially concerns about safety. The all inclusive rent, utilities, and gyms access are great but I would appreciate it if we would be able to access small packages outside of business hours.
The community looks nice and it is very peaceful. The community events look to be promising. Although it is a little far the commute is not super bad
I love maplewood apartments. However, I don’t like the fact that Mail is delivered to the community center and that there is no intercom system to let guests in. These are particularly a problem for someone with a disability like myself.
I lived in Ithaca East Apartments for 9 months and it was amazing. The owner Bruce helped us whenever we had any trouble immediately. The lawn added beauty to the area.
Overall the property is well maintained and looks really nice, but the furniture is low quality and not very comfortable. Walls are paper thin, and management especially can be very frustrating to deal with
I've rated Maplewood 4.5, because, though the complex is new and though the management team really puts a log of effort in, the maintenance and construction teams are both lagging behind and while also doing somewhat sloppy work. At times, the same issue has to be fixed multiple times. Other times, residents have to fix the same problems themselves. If maintenance/construction was better, I'd give Maplewood a 5/5, as the amenities are good and the price is much more affordable when compared to the other complexes and houses in near Cornell.
Maplewood seems pretty disorganized. Even just setting up roommate matching seems difficult and despite the fact I know who I want my roommate to be, it’s unclear if that will happen. Having someone pick up packages or take care of my apartment when I’m gone is a challenge as maplewood doesn’t allow me to say another person will be handling things for me and there’s no way to give them a temp key or have maplewood let them in. It’s bizarre to me that’s there’s no apartment doorbell at the front of the building.
It is really a wonder place to live. Beautiful environment, fitness, some exciting activities. However, sometimes it is a little bit noisy because of the cutting grass machine running around in the weekend.
I have not leave in this community before, but I have been here for a few minutes. Ths area is one of the best community near cornell, especially for graduates.
The price is perfect. You can never find another place this cheap with this high quality. But something is not that good. There are too many mantainance guy came in without telling you.
The communication is kind of wack here as for residents to the maintenance team and the office. If the platform can be done better the experience can be a lot better for the residents
The townhouse has been fair for me, which won't make me miss home a lot. Amenties are generally OK because we are the first batch of residents to move in. Still, some furniture problems could be found. And a lack of maintenance complicates the situation.
The apartments have the best amenities in Ithaca. New kitchens, close parking, new furniture and spacious, clean bathrooms. After living here I can't go back to living in an old fall creek apartment.
The living environment becomes better. But the sound insolation is so bad... I can hear the music from my neighbour and the walking steps from upstairs.
I thinks most of the parts are good in maple. The rent is no so high while it has great location and very good facilities. However, the staff is really ineffective. Maintenance is too slow.
The staffs don’t reply email. The community center should provide more drinks and snacks and ban strangers for entering. The noise block is not good enough.
Still need improvements on answering maintenance requests. Otherwise a great new community with relatively high quality units. The community center is great.
There is an issue when submitting the maintenance requests. The website won't allow me to send any in. However, there have been no other incidents and I am overall quite happy with my housing situation.
Great graduate student housing community. Complexes are spacious, new and have great facilities. It would be nice if more events which promote getting to know our fellow community residents would take place
Things have settled down nicely here. Can't beat the location and the amenities are great. I appreciate the monthly community events as well!
Great people and great atmosphere. Best part is hot chocolate on cold days at the community center with friends. Gym is also pretty cool! :)
Good if you’re moving from out of country. You pay for some conveniences, but overall if you have time it’s worth finding another place that better suits your individual needs.
The maintenance team is not reliable. it serves too slow and I cannot see any change after it says done. And some maintenance work hasn't done for several months.
Maplewood has a great location that is really close to campus. There are lots of paths nearby for walking my dog and sometimes interesting events at the community center.
this is amazing!!!!!! The conditions are great people are nice community is cleans it is good overall i love it you should try to live at maplewood
Management was kind and reasonable during my stay in person. Too many threatening e-mails (ie move your car by this time or we will tow you, discard of your trash properly or will charge you, etc.) Nice apartment, very spacious. Cheaper than a lot of locations in Ithaca. Wish construction and/ or management had been more honest about the date the apartment would be available.
Best apartment for students in Cornell. Although there are some small problems inside, it still has great price and quality compared to other options.
Amenities are great, building is new, staff is very responsive. Facilities are friendly to all residents. Internet has been slightly flaky recently, but is very fast when working.
I love the amazing new amenities such as ecobee thermostat, electric stove, my own in-unit washer/dryer, and my studio is huge!
My only downside would have to be the thin walls/poorly insulated windows, which allows even the slightest outdoor noise to be heard inside my apartment
Amazing residential society with the latest amenities. Wonderful society for graduate students with ample connection to the main campus. Love my apartment.
Comfortable apartments with great amenities and in-unit washer dryer. Gym and community center are great. Took off half star because walls are thin, can be loud
The amenities are fantastic and the apartment complex is close to the bus stop so I do not need to walk very far in the cold. It is alittle more than I would have liked to pay for, but I love the new appliances and cleanliness.
Maplewood has been exactly what i was looking for in an apartment as a graduate student at the best price possible. The amenities here are also amazing, with the gym and study space being the highlights.
It’s been great so far! Love staff!”!there! One more thing I wish to happen is there could be more social events or activities happening on weekday nights.
Everything is great except for the lack of recycling. Staff is friendly and more than willing to help you with your needs to the best of their ability, and the community is quiet, which is all i need to keep me happy.
The apartment community is really nice. Everyone seems to be really polite, including the leasing office staff and maintenance staff. Any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Apartments are decently priced and there are quite a few amenities. However, the walls are less than paper thin and management is very rude and hard to deal with.
Not too bad,but it could’ve started better. An effort on getting more places to dump the garbage should be a priority. Not too long ago I saw some rodent around, that shoulde becesken csrebof.
Maintenance is not on time and some carpentries deform easily due to air conditioning (e.g. the door or the wall). Overall, the living condition is decent
Overall nice to live. Especially Snow removal service is nice. but the leasing fee is a bit high. Also, the gym area could have been better.
After a bumpy start at the opening of this community, the past several months have been great. The staff, amenities and general ambiance of Maplewood is wonderful. I'm happy to come back next year!
In general, I had a good experience, however the start, with the delayed move-in, tainted a lot of it. The main issue with that, and since, has been the poor communication of the staff. Either the resident facing employees didn't know the answers to questions or didn't convey them.
I like pretty much everything. staffs are friendly, fitness center is great place. well the only complain is that coffee refill in the community center is always late
There’s a lot of things broken and not made well/painted nicely. The management doesn’t seem to know what’s going on half the time and barely want to help when I do come in
Move in day and the weeks after that were difficult because the apartments were not ready (even after we moved in). Besides that, it's a good place to live. I really like that the community center/gym is open 24/7.
Pros: Clean facilities and big units; centralized heating/cooling system
Cons: Inconvenient recycle location; coffee is almost always out in the leasing office
Maplewood has a great location! It’s within walking distance to Cornell. However, there are A LOT of maintenance issues despite it being brand new.
The apartment itself is very nice, however the gym should be a lot bigger for the size of the property. Any time of day it is busy and only having one set of each weight really causes issues.
The apartments are well designed and come with great appliances. The mailroom is by far my favorite feature. I can still send my online purchases there even when I'm away from Ithaca.
I love that even though I have roommates, we all have our own bathrooms and that a washer and dryer are in the unit. The proximity to campus is also very convenient.
Good service and great community support. Lease manager is very helpful as well as responsive.
Physical condition is good as it just opened.
I truly enjoy living here! The units are brand new. The people that work here are really nice and always willing to help. I would definitely recommend this complex.
The unit with fancy amenities is definitely nice, but the thing even nicer about the apartment complex is the staffs working here. All of them are very responsive and take care of each part of the complex.
After Maplewood's opening year, which had several hiccups (months-long construction delays, maintenance issues, etc), I think Maplewood will be a great, slightly pricey grad student community. The neighborhood is great. It is a 15 minute walk to Gates Hall. My 2 bedroom townhouse is very spacious and I find living here very cozy. The gym is missing a few key machines (smith, free bar, squat rack) but is a great included amenity.
Near to school and community service is perfect. It’s organized everytime we pick up the package in community. There are usually activities in the community.
Washer machine was poorly installed and kitchen counter was broken during installation. When I first arrived at my apartment, everything was still dirty and full of construction dust. My apartment wasn’t ready on the specified move-in date.
It was wonderful! Everyone is nice. Great community, hospitality and service. The community center is great. Hope maplewood apartments will provide us with more single rooms
Overall, things keep getting better. My main complain is that the walls are not very soundproof and that the heat is incredibly loud when it comes on.
The office is completely disorganized making move in and getting maintenance issues fixed a huge hassle. There’s also no recycling bin making a lot of unnecessary trash pile up.
Wonderful community with great amenities! Best place I've stayed in in Ithaca in my 5 years of study at Cornell. I'd recommend Maplewoods to any graduate student.
Good comunity service with many activities held every week. Well equipped fitting room near our house. The only room for improvement is the maintenance reaction. We have reported the bad kitchen clset for over a month but no response at all.
The facilities are good. People are nice. Environment is pleasing. Convenient to take the bus. Near the campus. No restaurant around. 10 Min-walk to the nearest supermarket.
Great community— love that it's only Cornell graduate students. Lots of diversity. Staff is always extremely nice and always tend to the needs of the residents.
Maplewood Apartments has a great community. However, the staff can do a better job of being organized and keeping the residents up to date with what's going on
Its good, the construction omited the details of the house termination though... but overall is a good place. The community center is super nice and have free coffee and tea
The maplewood complex becomes better . I like the community center and gym. Also, my apartment is so comfortable to live. The only drawback is the noise from heating system. It's too noisy to sleep well....
Staffs at Maplewood Apartment are very nice and responsive. The quality of the apartment is generally good, and I really enjoy living in Maplewood
Staff are amazing, facilities are extremely new but a bit rough around the edges, definitely reflects on the rushed nature of completion (e.g. wall sockets not working).
The staff are nice, the overall living experience is good. But the wall seems not thick enough, feel cool at winter and sometimes heard the noise from the street.
The apartment is good quality -- lovely and light and open. The walls are a little bit thin, but it hasn't been a big problem. The staff are friendly and helpful. The move-in was a bit chaotic and maintenance requests were slow at first, but now that construction is more under control, I have no complaints.
Whole new building!! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Oven, microwave, stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Some buildings or rooms are designed well. The arrangement is unacceptable sometimes. Bad noise reduction.
Modern finish and good-quality appliances. It's nice to have study rooms throughout our apartment building and the community. Plus you can't beat free coffee at community everyday. The only downside is the bedrooms are on the small side.
A good and affordable place. Near PC fresh. 15 min walk to campus. All the facilities are brand new. Maintainance requests are responded pretty fast.
Really like living here. Nice community and quality of construction. The staff is nice to interact with and always available when needed. Overall really nice.
I like it a lot! especially having a clubhouse where people can gather and study, and a 24-hour accessible gym. walking distance from the campus and shopping center. Wish the rooms were bigger, but overall very good!
Maplewood has a great location, quality apartments, friendly staff, and, once I was able to move in, I have really enjoyed living in the community.
It is pretty cool to stay here, very comfortable and staff are all very nice. Also, it is very good with the fitness center but it may not be that convenient for the trash throwing.
Cleam and well managed. Make me feel the sense of safety. It is just that cabinet are not very firm. Fortunately，the community always react quickly to our maintnance.
The movein delay was inconvenient, but the living is quite nice. I enjoy my townhouse, the location, and all of Maplewood’s amenities. It would be nice if we got a professional cleaning or if some of the damage resulting from a quick attempt to finish everything could be fixed. Regardless, I’m happy here.
Each unit has its own laundry units and a dishwasher, which makes a grad student's life way easier. I personally liked the fact that the community center, which has a fitness center and a study lounge, is 24/7 accessible.
Overall, Maplewood apartment is the best apartment I lived in. The staff members were really helpful and I enjoyed my days in living in such a great community.
Nice and comfortable environment. Great climate control and fair price. It would be great if the maintenance happens faster after we fill in the request.
It's been a great experience. So far the community has been great with cleaning the snow. The apartments are beautiful. The staff is always friendly.
Overall good experience. My building wasn't really delayed so it was fine. All things are brand new which is nice. The package pickup service is a little annoying, but it has its advantage.
Community center is amazing - free coffee, easy to pick up packages, gym is conveniently located
Apartment has high quality appliances and looks modern and new- heat and AC work well too!
I enjoy living at Maplewood, however, one thing I would like to add is a locker room in the fitness center, taking into account current weather conditions
Good and helpful service.Would be better if maintenance is on time and also set up bus station in south. Trash can is also a issue. For most of us living in the south we have to walk a long time to throw trash.
The walls are really thin and it's easy to hear people in neighboring rooms. Other than that, it's been good! It would also be much better if the entire complex was finished in construction.
Apartment is new and modern. And there are good amenities that I enjoy a lot such as community center lounge, coffee, gym. Package delivery system is also good and organized. And plus, staffs are very kind and helpful. Thanks so much.
Nice and clean apartment. Parking is right at the front. Some flaws due to hasty construction (a few light switches are not assigned to any light, an unreasonable hole on the kitchen cabinet, the bottom of the kitchen drawer keeps falling out) but still I like this apartment.
I love living in maplewood apartment. People here are nice, staff are kind and the facilities are convenient. Although the lease is more expensive than others, I still think maple is a good very choice!
pretty good experience. moved in a bit late but well furnished and decent location. wish there will be more buses routes coming by to connect to campus.
Apartment is quite nice, especially the kitchen. While the couches and chairs are functional, the tables (i.e. the kitchen table, the couch table, the side table, the desk, and the TV table) are pressed-board garbage.
Great apartments and close location to Cornell University. The company is still disorganized, especially with parking and rent is expensive.
Living here is great. There were some hiccups during moving in w.r.t to delays etc. but since then it has been good! Gym is good too. Overall happy
I just moved into my one bedroom and I’m very happy with it. It took a long time but all that waiting has finally paid off. There are some slight annoyances like my desk drawer has trouble opening and the noise comes though the walls, but I’m very happy so far.
Nice staff. The community is brand new so the operation is yet to be improved. Things like the air conditioning noises need to be resolved. Overall experience is good.
The apartment complex really got off to a rough start. I was really upset about not getting to move in on time. There have been lots of little problems with living here like the constant construction and alarms that randomly go off in the middle of the night. But I’m hopeful this place will redeem itself and become a more pleasant place to live over time.
The community center is great and I love the hot beverages. However it is annoying to still be living in a construction site and having to wait so long for basic amenities such as mailboxes (glad that finally got sorted out).
Great amenities, awesome gym, and community center. However, the construction pains have encompassed a delayed move in and construction noise
The apartment is very nice, although the soundproofing between rooms could be better. For the apartment building, is it possible to add entrance to the building through the back door (building D)? It will be more convenient for us when we come back from the parking lot, or just want to go out to throw the trash.
They are good apartments, with a large parking lot. The staff seems extremely busy but are friendly or helpful. No complaints come to mind about living here.
Amenities and environment are wonderful. However, couldn't move in on time and maintenance requests have been slow to be fulfilled. Construction is still ongoing
Amazing experience. Beautiful apartments and great staff. Very well planned community experience. Service is great and very convenient location close to Cornell Univeristy
Everything is really nice but the construction was rushed and we had so many problems moving. We still have some problems with our townhouse. Staff can be helpful sometimes but others not so much. It’s fruatrating. Our place doesn’t even look new because of all the scratches and rushed construction. Community center is nice but a lot of services promised on the website don’t exist yet.
Once we got in, the facilities have been great and the staff has been helpful! The gym is open 24 hours which is really convenient and it's been a good environment to study in!
Apartment is nice but living in a construction zone is chaos. Lost or delayed mail... gym wasn’t open for a while... issues with fobs... communication with staff was not clear and could be very frustrating most of the time...
I like my place so much. I was initially bit upset due to the delay but it is getting better and better now. Still quite noisy due to construction though
The workout center is not too bad. Once the whole complex is done it will be really nice. So far Maplewood has taken care of most the problems.
I live in a 3B3B townhouse. After moving in, I find the configuration of the bedrooms are different from the floor plans shown on the website. The real bedrooms at the 2nd floor are smaller than the plan and the bedroom at the 3rd floor is in a strange shape and configuration. Other than that, I am satisfied with staying here. The kitchen and dining area is my favorite.
I love the kitchen in townhouse! It would be better if having a bigger room space and uniformed living room. Over all, I think Maplewood is a good place!!
The overall apartment is nice but there are a lot of construction oversights that suggest it was a rush job. Residents are very warm to one another which makes it a nice community to live in. The communication between staff members and residents is poor and even amongst staff members.
The apartments are really superb. The things that I love are the spacious living room connected to the kitchen area, cozy bedroom that's more than big enough for me, and a bathroom almost the size of my previous rooms I've lived in! The things that I don't enjoy as much are the lack of recycling, the pantry door is always difficult to open when you haven't opened it in a while, and the really thin walls that let you hear everything from both the outside and the adjacent rooms.
Aside from some initial technical difficulties, the apartment is very well furnished with furniture and appliances.
However, there are a lot of delays elsewhere, such as getting mailboxes, a package system, and assigned parking spaces.
The Maplewood loving experience is pretty good, excepts the delays in the first few weeks. In the morning, you will heard some construction noises, but it will be better after October I believe.
The facilities are pretty good. The environment is satisfying. The price is reasonable. But parking places are limited. And some furniture have a bad smell. Overall, living here is not a bad choice for me :)
Love my apartment and the roommates that Maplewood matched me with. The community is great, and the gym is really high quality. I'm excited for them to start having community events. Deducted one half star because we've been waiting a while to have our pantry finally put together.
There are a lot of issues that need to be fixed to improve the resident experience. The mail situation is problematic as mail is often misplaced. The apartments seem rushed and many details are neglected.
Maplewood Apartments has really nice rooms! There was a delay and maintenance is slow to respond though. I like the mailroom system where I get updates for deliveries.
I really like my apartment, but it does have it's issues. My sink has been clogged for over 2 weeks. I reported it twice, and it has not been fixed.
The AC still does not work after I've notified the prople in charge several times. There was a delay in giving us the apartment on time and the mail service can significantly be improved.
It started very poorly, being delayed move into my apartment 2 weeks. Then the management was a bit unresponsive and had poor communication.
Would have been a lot better if they had estimated the time of completion correctly. The apartment facilities are great and modern. The process for receiving mail needs to be improved.
Maplewood Apartment was built on August, so everything is brand new. I live in 3b3b apartment, it is good. The only thing I feel uncomfortable is the delay of move in.
Considering all the frustration around the delays and the ongoing construction, I don't have any complaints. The apartment is well built and the staff have been very nice and accommodating. I imagine that once construction is complete and people are all settled in, it'll get better.
The house is new and pretty, and the apartment complex is located in a good location. But the maintenance service is too slow and it actually does not fix the problem. (It's a new house but it was having problems with the dish washer, washer and dryer from when we moved in.)
Attentive and helpful staff, but apartment was not “move in ready” and still isn’t after a month of moving in. Cheap quality for the price but at least it looks very modern and nice.
I’m not sure you guys want to hear about my resident experience... At least I got to move in eventually, I guess. It’s not totally bad. The room is nice.
Amenities are great and the overall community is nice. Gym has some unnecessary equipment (boxing machine). Move in was stressful and have had to deal with setting up personal network involving TV and internet.
Many ammenities were not ready at the time of move in (gym, mailboxes, bike racks, etc). Construction all around all the time- loud before 8am
The management here is terrible. It’s been a bunch of people equally ignorant of simple services such as maintenance and mail. Really disappointing and frustrating.
Everyone is kind and I really like this apartment. But there are some part that has to be fixed and it is quite uncomfortable.
I really like interior in the room and furnishes but paintings are not very neat.
Ups and downs. Everything is nice but a few maintenance problems that are slow to fix. Great location. Good compensation for the delayed move in. Wish the gym had a few more key equipment pieces.
I love it. Maplewood is great!
The rooms are huge. We also have gigantic bathrooms. The neighborhood area is great as well. And we are having a great gym right in the community center.
It's still under construction so there's not much I can write about the general atmosphere In Maplewood. But my apartment is very good. Everything was well in place and working when I moved in. At the same time, their response time for maintenance issues is short so you dont have to worry even if something goes wrong.
Apartment was fantastic, delay was quite crazy. A little inconvenient due to the construction going around, but generally very content with my apt
While I’m glad maplewood took steps to overcome the challenge of the delay, it is still a huge burden on us. That is something that has tainted the otherwise satisfactory experience of working with maplewood.
I am disappointed by the lack of organization and communication by the management company. Across the last several months, my roommates and I have encountered numerous issues with the management team ranging from our original unit being reassigned, to our leases getting cancelled and our friend getting dropped from the lease (resulting in our friend having to find new housing last minute), to a last-minute delayed move-in date. These are just a handful of headaches. I wish I would have signed to live at my old building and not Maplewood.
Leasing staff is very professional. The online payment system makes paying rent easy. Signing the lease through the online platform was quick and easy. The only issue is that I hope I can move in early because the law school orientation begins August 13th.
the paint on the outsides of the buildings look pretty nice but I can't really say much more than that. I hope that the apartment is ready to move in soon.
nice apartment with good furniture, washing machine, internet, gym and kind staff, looking forward to move in and say more about the experience.
Looking forward to staying at maplewood in a four bedroom hall kitchen townhouse starting 20th August 2018. Excited to see it building step by step.
Great service! It was easy to talk to staff and staff provided quick and clear response through the email. Application process was very simple and straightforward.
My experience at Maplewood has been great so far. Employees have been helpful and quick to respond to my emails. Everyone has been great in helping me secure housing for the fall.
Well I'm still waiting to move in since Maplewood opens in August. But I'm very happy with the other residents with whom I've met/spoken. I'm very pleased that the complex is limited to graduate students at Cornell. I think it fosters a very strong sense of community.
I haven't actually lived in maplewood, but so far all staff has been great in helping me pick out an apartment. :) Hope early move-in date is possible though!
The employees were very professional. The room models look great! I'll have to see how they meet expectations but I'm hoping that they'll turn out well.
We haven't moved in yet but have had a very pleasant experience signing the lease and touring the property. The staff were very helpful and offered good assistance.
Fantastic experience thus far. The leasing office has been responsive as necessary and is well informed on the progress of the property. Would recommend to another.
So far I've had a pretty good experience with Maplewood. I had some issues communicating with them via email, but was kindly taken care of after I reached out to the manager. Looking forward to moving in and living in the community.
Maplewood Apartments is a wonderful, newly built apartment community with lavish amenities! The sales staff are friendly and eager to help all new tenants.
So far my experience with Mapelwood has been great. The model apartment gave me a great idea of what to expect and the staff has been very professional and prompt. In addition, they are on schedule to open by August.
I'm excited to be a part of Maplewood. The experience getting signed up has been awesome, and I've been talking up living there with my entire cohort.
Staff are pretty nice and efficient. The community is brand new and modern style. The most important, it is walkable distance from the campus!
I have not moved in to my apartment yet, but so far my experience has quite been positive. The leasing staff have been very responsive to my questions.
